Coverage

The towns this bench covers

The run is drawn around Lexington and reaches out as far as a van can go and still be useful: west to Concord, east to Cambridge and Brookline, north to Winchester, south to Newton and Weston.

  1. How the coverage actually works

There is no zone pricing and no travel surcharge. The flat $95 covers the visit and the full diagnosis in every town on this page and comes off the repair if you approve one. What changes between towns is not the price but the logistics — a condo lift in Brookline, a stair run in Winchester, a hundred feet of gravel in Weston.

Each town below has its own page because each one genuinely is different to work in. If your town is not listed, the phone is still the right call: the edge of a service map is a judgement, not a wall.

  2. What gets taken in all of them

Sub-Zero built-in refrigerators and freezers, freezer and refrigerator drawers, standalone and built-in ice machines, and wine storage. Refrigeration only — no laundry, no dishwashers, no cooking appliances. A narrower book means the right part is more often already on the van.

Reviews

  • Our basement cellar unit climbed several degrees whenever the room warmed up. The thermoelectric module was tired. He was straight with us about the limits of that design and what replacing it would buy.

    Peggy E. · Meriam Hill

  • Humid stretch in July and the built-in up on Belmont Hill ran nonstop with hot air pouring off the lower grille. The fan blade was cracked and out of balance, and half the coil was furred over besides. He replaced the blade and cleaned it down, and it cycles normally again.

    Annika B. · Belmont

  • Upper zone of our dual-zone unit sat warm while the lower one held perfectly. A damper motor had seized. He had one with him, fitted it, and both zones have tracked their settings ever since that visit.
