One house, two kitchens
A large share of Arlington housing is two-family, and a large share of that has been converted to condominiums. That means two independent kitchens stacked on one another, two sets of refrigeration, and a shared water supply that was never designed to feed two ice makers. When one unit reports slow ice and the other reports none, the fault is often in the plumbing before the appliance.
Upstairs units add a stair run to every job. A full-height column coming down a turned staircase needs its doors off, and that is a decision made before the van is loaded, not on the landing.
