Answers before you book anybody
Every page below exists because the same question keeps arriving on the phone. If one of them gets your refrigeration working again without a visit, that is a good outcome and it costs you nothing.

Start with the symptom
Refrigeration faults are diagnosed by elimination rather than intuition, and the elimination starts with a precise description. "It is not cooling" covers at least six distinct faults; "the fresh food side is in the forties, the freezer is fine, and it started on Tuesday" covers about two.
The pages here are written to help you get from the first sentence to the second. Where a check is safe to do yourself, it says so. Where it is not, it says that too — there is nothing behind the rear panel of a built-in that rewards curiosity.

What a visit costs, plainly
The flat $95 covers the visit and the full diagnosis: temperatures over a cycle, sealed-system behaviour, defrost, fans, sensors and seals. It is credited against the repair if you approve one. If you decide not to proceed, the $95 is all that is owed and the diagnosis is yours to take elsewhere.
